Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
